Meet Brian Sims, Pennsylvania Lawmaker and Bully That Harasses Women, Young Girls for Praying

Brian Sims, a democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in the 182nd district, has recently come under fire after he uploaded a video to social media showing him harassing, shaming & attempting to dox peaceful pro-life protestors outside of a Planned Parenthood in his district in Philadelphia.

The protestors were a small group of primarily women, both elderly and teenage girls of whom he harassed for their positions on abortion, their Christian faith and their race. He spends the majority of the video picking on an elderly woman that kept her silence.

“Who would’ve thought that an old white lady would be out in front of a Planned Parenthood telling people what’s right for their bodies? Shame on you.” He scoffed at her.

Another portion of the video shows Sims berating a group of three teenage girls, as well as the mother of one of those girls—also attacking them for the same reasons as the elderly woman.

“A bunch of pseudo-Christian protestors out here shaming young girls for being here” he stated. “Look, a bunch of white people standing out in front of a Planned Parenthood shaming people. There’s nothing Christian about what you’re doing.”

Sims titled the video "Push back against Planned Parenthood protestors, PLEASE! They prey on young women, they use white privilege, & shame. They’re racist, classist, bigots who NEED & DESERVE our righteous opposition. Push back, please! #YouAreStrongEnough"

Not only did he harass them repeatedly, he took it a step further by offering money for their identities. At one point in the Periscope filmed video, Sims disturbingly attempted to dox the group of teen girls.

“So, here’s the deal, I’ve got $100 for anybody that will identify any of these three.” He stated.

Periscope is a live video streaming platform owned by social media giant Twitter. Twitter has a strict policy against doxing, a hot topic and reason for the banning of many popular conservative voices recently. Despite this, the democratic lawmaker remains on all platforms.

The mother, Ashley Garecht, was horrified and disturbed by the disgusting actions of the state lawmaker—so much as to cause her to file a police report.

“Out of an abundance of caution, we did file a report with our local police because our children were trying to be identified on the internet.”

Instead of apologizing for his behavior, or directly to any of the women he harassed, the seven-year tenure lawmaker responded in a video apologizing to Planned Parenthood rather for any damaged caused by the incident. Despite all of this, Sims remains in office with no consequences thus far.

In response to the lawmaker’s despicable behavior, thousands of pro-life protestors gathered in the streets of Philadelphia on Friday, right outside of the same Planned Parenthood where the incident occurred. Representative Sims was nowhere to be seen at this rally in his district, though many certainly invited him to come.

Pennsylvania House Republicans immediately called for prosecutors to investigate the actions of Sims.

Despite all of this, the media has been extremely reluctant to cover the story—while little to no democrats have condemned Sims’s behavior. Needless to say, this certainly would not be the reaction had the script been flipped.

Had there been a pro-life republican lawmaker harassing pro-choice protestors within their district, CNN would undoubtedly have their juiciest headline for the next month. The actions of Representative Sims are nothing short of bigotry and should be regarded as such. This is a leap-and-a-half away from acceptable behavior by an elected official, or anybody rather—and he should resign.

2020 Presidential Candidate/Former Vice President Joe Biden in Pittsburgh

Joe Biden Arrives Hours Late to Pittsburgh Rally—Leaves the Stage After 26 Minutes

Twitter:  @TheDailyNoble

Newly announced democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden made a stop in Pittsburgh Monday, where he provided the steel city with a roughly 26-minute-long speech after hours of waiting in line, accompanied by his conflicting slogan—Biden “works for America.”

The rally was held at the Teamster’s 249 local union hall in Lawrenceville. For obvious reasons, this kept a sizable chunk of his speech directly focused on speaking to the union workers present at the rally—though Biden’s words to middle America remained primarily anecdotal and contradictory. One would think it would be difficult to gain union worker support showing up late to work, only to leave early.

The line was long, and the media was heavy throughout it all—with some journalists welcomed more humanely than others by supporters of Biden. Millie Weavers of InfoWars made a surprise visit, getting the usual IW treatment, nonetheless. Millie was in the process of interviewing me when three grown men shouted us down with “Alex Jones kills people!” This was one of many slanders thrown at the IW pack of two (cameraman).

Many street vendors were seen selling “Biden 2020” along with “F*ck Trump” gear such as buttons, shirts, etc.

Biden arrived thoroughly late to the event, not taking the stage until 4:25pm after doors were set to open at 2:00pm. He kicked off his speech with a moment of recognition for the victims of anti-Semitic/white supremacist attacks we have seen across the nation recently—noting both the Pittsburgh Synagogue Shooting and the most recent attack over the weekend in Poway, CA. “We are in a battle as a nation.” Said the former vice president.

This quickly transitioned into his plans to remove Trump from office in 2020 by winning the election, calling to his home state of Pennsylvania for support. “I came to Pittsburgh because if I’m going to beat Trump, it’s going to happen here.” He said to the crowd of roughly 500.

He went on to list the three reasons that he is running for president.

• Restore the soul of America

• Rebuild the backbone of America

• Respect the backbone of America

With his speech focused largely on the union workers, he all-but dismissed the thriving markets we see underneath the Trump administration—both stock & job markets. “The middle class is hurting.” He said. “Only the people at the top benefit when the company does well. We need to reward work in this country, not just wealth.”

Biden was harshly critical of the current economy, calling it “not enough.”

“We need to redefine what a successful economy is. High markets are not enough.” He stated.

Though nothing positive was discussed by Biden about the booming Trump economy—such as record high stock markets, historically low Hispanic & black unemployment and 7 million unfilled jobs—important things like climate change and healthcare certainly were. The vice president during the passing of the ACA (Affordable Care Act) stated that we need “quality, affordable healthcare”, though he confusingly backed Medicare For All as well—a single-payer healthcare system.

The former vice president’s climate change spiel went only as far as to state that “We need to move towards clean, renewable energy.” Switching the subject with nothing short of anecdotes to follow. “Trump is the only president that decided not to represent the entire country.”

Much like his candidacy announcement video, the short 26 minutes were spent with many slanderous Trump remarks and of course, anecdotal stories—yet lacking any actual policy. Biden, a former senator and vice president of the United States is kicking off his presidential campaign on a “Because I’m not Trump” premise. Crazier yet, he’s the current frontrunner for the democratic party on that campaign alone.

Biden ended just short of the half hour mark with another jab at the big orange boogeyman— “Everyone knows who Trump is, now we need to let them know who we are and what we’re about. We need truth over lies.” He stated.

Turning Point USA Continues "Campus Clash" Tour at Penn State with Charlie Kirk, Donald Trump Jr, Kim Guilfoyle

Turning Point USA made a pit-stop Tuesday in the small Pennsylvania town of State College, home to Penn State University—where they continued their Campus Clash tour with speakers Charlie Kirk, Kim Guilfoyle and Donald Trump Jr. The groundbreaking conservative movement’s leader Charlie Kirk kicked off the event on a simple, yet apparently controversial premise—why America is the greatest country in the world.

Before his statement was finished, Kirk was quickly interrupted by a group of roughly five hecklers that remained consistent for far too long on their ability to make loud noises, whilst making no points. The squawking of the hecklers was quickly drowned out with an overwhelmingly electric “USA” chant. Less than three minutes after Kirk took the stage, Don Jr and Kim joined him.

The three spent their time talking about primarily positive things—while clearing up some common misconceptions about the Trump administration. “The left doesn’t want to talk about all-time low Hispanic and black unemployment rates” Don stated.

He went on greatly to discuss the economic growth our country has seen under the current administration, highlighting many key metrics such as the following:

• 93% of Americans saw a tax cut. Refunds were smaller because people paid less in taxes last year.

• All-time high stock markets

• Record low unemployment rates

“We gave a chance to a business guy and look at the results.” Don stated.

Don Jr challenged one heckler briefly by asking him to “name one economic metric that is not better now than it was three years ago.” This challenged promoted a brief “Uhhhhhhh…..” in response. The group would soon be escorted out by police after multiple outbursts and reckless behavior (see video below). This was the end of the outbursts aside from one man during the Q&A that threw a temper tantrum due to his question not being able to be asked. He was also kicked out.

“It’s so amazing how angry the left is. I can’t imagine how sad one’s life must be to come to somebody else’s event, only to ruin it for the hundreds of other people here.” Kirk added. Don Jr backed Kirk entirely against the heckling buffoons, adding his sentiments as well. “There are real life consequences to being conservative and vocal about it.” He stated.

Another major focus of the event was on the defensive side. The group talked greatly about the findings of the Mueller report and the left’s hypocrisy behind it—along with harsh criticism of some of our freshman lawmakers, namely AOC (Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez). “The Green New Deal wants to pay people “unwilling to work.” They laughed with the audience.

Don scoffed at AOC, following this up with a swift jab to her credibility. “By the way, this was all proposed by a freshman lawmaker that did not know the three branches of government three weeks ago.”

Prior to the Q&A, the group circled back to their discussion of our current economic metrics, as well as Kirk adding key points about the societal outlook on higher education. “We treat plumbers, HVAC technicians, electricians, entrepreneurs, etc with less dignity than those with college degrees—and that is NOT okay.” He added.

Kim focused on the promising fact that you can actually get a job in this Trump economy, while Charlie adlibbed her. “We currently have 7 million unfilled jobs, so what does that mean? Wages go up for the middle class.” he stated.

Turning Point USA’s next stop on their Campus Clash tour will be tonight at the University of Missouri at 7:00pm CDT. Tickets are free and are available at the link below.

Media Matters for America Takes Cheap Shot at Joe Rogan

Joe Rogan - JRE Podcast Host/Stand-Up Comedian/UFC Commentator

Popular podcast host and stand-up comedian Joe Rogan is receiving criticism from some unhappy critics after an article concerning Rogan’s lack of women guests on his podcast show—The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE), was posted Monday on the Media Matters for America (MMfA) website.

Media Matters for America is a progressive non-profit organization that claims their aim is to “monitor, analyze and correct conservative misinformation in the U.S. media.” It is known for being harshly critical of conservative journalists with a big focus of theirs unsurprisingly being on Fox News.

Somehow, the marijuana smoking UFC commentator—with a moderate political alignment still found his way into the MMfA crosshairs. The blog post, headlined “The Joe Rogan Experience disproportionately hosts men” uncovered groundbreaking evidence that between 6/26/18 and 4/3/19, 91% of guests appearing on the show were men—a difference of 147 to 14.

Fox’s Tucker Carlson was critical of the post on his show Tucker Carlson Tonight, calling it a “warning” sent by the organization to Rogan.

“Now if you asked Media Matters, they’d say they’re upset because Rogan doesn’t care about diversity—but of course the truth is exactly the opposite. Rogan is popular precisely because he welcomes a diversity of opinion. Left, right—everyone in between.” Tucker stated. “For the speech police on the left, that’s terrifying—because they don’t control it.”

Rogan, a man that lives at home with his wife and three daughters will likely not take advice from a “progressive” group whose president, Angelo Carusone is the polar opposite of what modern progressives have in mind—a white man that’s been exposed for making racist, anti-Semitic posts online.

Bernie Sanders Smears Trump As Liar “Unfit” to be President at Pittsburgh Rally—Proceeds to Tell His Own Lies

Bernie Sanders (D-VT) - Senator/2020 Democratic Presidential Candidate

United States senator and democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders (D-VT) held a rally in Pittsburgh at Schenley Plaza Sunday, where he made several inaccurate claims as well as extremely questionable projections.

The rally was held at 5pm on Pitt campus where several thousand attended. Senator Sanders took the stage at 5:49pm following a list of guest speakers prior to him including co-chair of his campaign & former senator, Nina Turner (D-OH).

He immediately kicked off his speech with an extremely “woke” statement to his supporters:

“I’m not afraid to take on Trump’s racism.” Sanders stated.

This was followed briefly by a string of claims by Sanders that Trump was a “pathological liar” in which he often had the crowd chant:

This seemed to somewhat become the central theme of the rally as Sanders would often reference back to the chant to emphasize the many different claims he made against Trump.

A few examples of the “liar” statements on Sunday from Sanders:

“In a democracy, we all have different opinions. Whether you are a democrat, libertarian, conservative, independent, whatever—trust me, you don’t want a pathological liar in office."

“The biggest lie he told was that he would help working class families. That was a lie.”

“President Trump said that he would provide healthcare to everyone at a rally right here in Pennsylvania. That was a lie.”

It was clear that the presidential candidate is fed up with Trump & his fibs that Sanders claims he’s used to bait his voters, but what happens when you hold the Vermont senator to his own standards?

Few could disagree that it is an undeniably reasonable position to demand that your elected officials practice what they preach, so I decided to give it a shot.

A few more examples of statements made Sunday by Sanders:

“Black owned business in America can’t get approved for loans at affordable rates.”

“Our major national security threat right now is climate change. When we take over with wind & solar, we will create millions of good paying jobs”

“Amazon paid $0 in federal taxes last year because of Trump’s tax bill.”

The first statement regarding black business ownership is entirely laughable. An article published by Small Business Trends in December found quite the contrary to the demagogue’s claims. According to the article, between the years of 2017 and 2018—black business ownership spiked a whopping 400%. Another 66% of black owned businesses boasted that they we’re currently “looking to expand.” Struggling businesses that don’t have access to affordable loans are not in the market to expand. This is self-explanatory. These are incredibly exciting statistics for the black community, and it ought to be be praised and encouraged by our leaders—rather than merely used as political leverage to drive votes and campaign donations.

The second statement regarding climate change is an interesting one as well. Sanders got heated when speaking on climate change—shouting “Climate change is not a hoax!” as the crowd roared behind him. While that statement is both true and entirely useless to anyone, I find the lack of skepticism in Bernie's agenda troubling.  Despite this, Bernie supporters were thrilled as ever to attend the rally—many handing out Green New Deal flyers whilst brandishing his t-shirts, but they all failed to ask their socialist leader one simple question:

“Why didn’t you vote for the Green New Deal?”

The third statement regarding Amazon dodging taxes last year due to Trump’s tax bill (TCJA) is a leap and a half to put it lightly. While the TCJA certainly assisted Amazon in lowering their annual bill from Uncle Sam, Amazon has a track record of paying little to nothing in federal taxes dating back to the Obama administration. This is due largely to similar lucrative tax deductions & credits made available to these massive companies—backdating long before the current Trump administration.

Sanders did not follow any of this up with elaboration, but instead dove right into one of the boldest projections we’ve heard yet from a 2020 candidate.

“We’re going to win all of the swing states.” He boasted. This statement was unsurprisingly followed up with an even bolder projection—that he would win the entire 2020 presidential election as well.

For those that may not know, a “swing state” is a state that historically has shown a similar level of partisan voter support on either side of a presidential candidacy. These are often seen as vital states of focus for candidates, as they take the least amount of effort to sway in comparison to many other states.

The "swing states" are comprised of Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin.

In the 2016 election, Donald Trump bagged seven of these twelve states leaving only five to his democratic opponent Hillary Clinton—Bernie’s rival candidate that he fell short of in the primaries. Assuming that Bernie could match Hillary on the swing states, which is still giving him a slight handicap—this still leaves Bernie with only 41.6% of the states he promises to sweep in 2020.

Bernie may want to aim for majority share before he touts the idea of sweeping seven currently republican states from the sitting POTUS.

A likely rebuttal to this would be that Donald Trump’s disapproval rating amongst registered voters has climbed from 37% to 53% since inauguration, which is a fair argument as well as a sizable increase. This possibly will have a detrimental effect on POTUS’S road to 2020 and need be considered, though it's unlikely to be imactful enough to cost him the election. After all, Trump did technically lose the popular vote to Clinton whilst still winning office due to the weight of his electoral votes outweighing Clinton’s.

With that said, such projections would still be sizing up Bernie’s 58.4% "swing state” delta against Trump’s 16% hike in disapproval. Jobs have been added, the economy is in good shape and democrats are running out of ideas. While Trump's spike in disapproval is nothing to add to your resume, you may want to leave your chips on red for this hand.

Seemingly moments after Sanders made these projections and the speech ended, President Trump ironically enough released his Q1 earnings for his 2020 campaign, showing an excess of $30 million raised to date. This means Trump has raised more in the first quarter of 2020 than the top two democratic candidates have combined. It was also released that a reported 99% of donations were less than $200—with the average donation coming in at just $34.

We will likely not see these numbers televised on major news networks due to one troubling statistic—the average donation amount. This statistic tells a story that goes aggressively against some very popular and long repeated narratives on networks like CNN & MSNBC.

An average donation of $34 means that this money came from working class people, and a lot of them. It’s simple math + simple logic. $34 is a very reasonable & predictable amount of income for a working-class family to donate to a campaign. Also, the smaller the donation—the more estimated votes the campaign can account for.

It is a reasonable assumption that one’s donation to a presidential campaign is a significant indicator that they are already sold on their vote.

That’s not exactly the story that we’ve heard from these networks though, along with others over the last two years. We were assured repetedly from the networks along with many of our congressional leaders that Donald Trump’s campaign was funded tremendously by massive corporations and lobbyist groups providing large amounts of capital to the administration.

The allegations of corruption in the administration manifested itself into the now debunked two-year long Mueller investigation claiming that Trump & his administration colluded with the Russian government. The summary of the investigation, done by Attorney General William Barr found no indication that Trump or his administration colluded with Russia in any way in order to influence the election. No criminal activity was found—therefore, Barr recommended no indictments.

This campaign report likely may turn into a similar fictional narrative as the Mueller investigation and will all but definitely have a similar outcome if that be the case. This is all great news for Trump, and detrimental to democratic candidates.

Ilhan Omar Downplays 9/11 Attacks—Trump Bashes Her in Twitter Video

Congresswoman Ilhan Omar is undergoing extreme backlash for her careless comments regarding the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001—committed by the Islamic extremist group al-Qaeda.

For any that may not know, the 2001 infamous attacks killed a total of 2,996 people and injured over 6,000 more. It is estimated to have caused at least $10 billion in property and infrastructure damage as well. It is—without question, one of the most devastating tragedies to occur in modern United States history.

“Some people did something.” Is how Congresswoman Ilhan Omar described the attacks whilst trying to make her point at a CAIR event on March 23rd in Los Angeles. CAIR GLA posted the video of Omar’s full speech just Tuesday on their YouTube Channel (14:00 is where part in question begins).

Omar responded to the backlash on Twitter.

“The people – and the people who knock these buildings down will hear all of us soon!” President George W. Bush

Was Bush downplaying the terrorist attack?

What if he was a Muslim?”

Omar tweeted.

If you’re like the rest of us, you’re probably wondering what the hell that means—and no, I don’t really have an answer for you.

What I can tell you, however—is that George W. Bush did make that statement. You can see the full video for yourself here. What Bush was absolutely not doing, however—which is clear in the video, was downplaying the attacks as Congresswoman Omar did. The statement Bush made was clearly a direct threat to the perpetrators, with whom we shortly went to war with. This, contrary to Omar’s interpretation of the statement whilst she continues to double-down on her own.

President Trump responded on Twitter, bashing Omar for her words. “WE WILL NEVER FORGET!” The President tweeted with a scathing link to a video displaying Omar’s remarks as well as horrific footage from the attacks.

Socialist Bernie Sanders Gives Capitalistic Advice on How to Become A Millionaire Like Him

Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders admitted Tuesday that he is a millionaire, attributing his wealth to the success of his bestselling book. Sanders assured that his claims will be ratified within days as he prepares to release his tax returns to the public.

The socialist candidate surprisingly showed no remorse for his wealth—giving a humorous piece of advice for others that aspire to be as wealthy as he. “I wrote a bestselling book. If you write a bestselling book, you can be a millionaire too.” Sanders said in an interview with The New York Times.

Yes, yes you can Bernie—thanks to capitalism, the economic system that Sanders claims to despise so much. Sanders has continuously bashed capitalism—giving it all but no merit as being clearly, the greatest economic system that has ever been invented. After all, it’s the only way Sanders could’ve ever became a millionaire in this country.

“It is wrong today, in a rigged economy that 57% of all new income is going to the top 1%.” Sanders stated in 2015 during a democratic presidential debate on CNN.

According to CNBC, in order for a family to be considered in the top one percent of earners in the United States—the family needs an income of at least $421,926. As long as his tax returns check out, this puts Sanders well into the one percent he suggests are greedy & unfairly taxed.

This, not enough though—Sanders taking it a step further to advise others on how to replicate his building of wealth. There is a great deal of irony when a socialist presidential candidate, one who is among the top one percent of earners in the United States himself—gives capitalistic advice to his base on how to get rich.

Sanders has raised an astounding $18.2 million in campaign donations in Q1 alone thus far.

Nancy Pelosi Responds to Barr’s “Spying” Comments With Illogical Presumption

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sat down in an interview with Associated Press Wednesday where she told associates that—while she trusts Special Counsel Robert Mueller, she does not trust Attorney General William Barr following the release of Barr’s summary on the Mueller investigation.

In a new development, Barr testified Wednesday that be believes that there was “spying” on the 2016 Trump campaign.

Pelosi scoffed at Barr’s statement—claiming he believes the Trump campaign was spied on, suggesting it as “undermining Barr’s independence as the nation’s top law enforcement officer.”

“He is not the attorney general of Donald Trump. He is the attorney general of the United States.” Pelosi stated. Barr also stated Wednesday that we can expect a full, redacted version of the report next week.

“It’s only a matter of time before the full report is made public. We will see it.” The House Speaker commented. “I don’t trust Barr, I trust Mueller.”

Okay, fine. Then why hasn’t Mueller stepped up and called out Barr for not summarizing his two-year report to his liking? Doesn’t the fact that he hasn’t—negate the presumption that Mueller is trustworthy, while Barr is not?

Despite the fact that the now debunked allegations of treasonous crimes against Trump have filled our entire news cycle since 2016, CNN reported Wednesday that other democrats are “furious” over Barr’s spying comments—and oh, they are.

"I'm amazed that the Attorney General would make that kind of statement, I think it's in many ways disrespectful to the men and women who work in the Department of Justice, and it shows, I think, either a lack of understanding—or willful ignorance on what goes into a counterintelligence investigation" Senator Mark Warner (D-VA) told CNN.

If there is anything in this entire fiasco that need be labeled as “disrespectful to the men and women who work in the Department of Justice,” it undoubtedly is not only the liberal media’s coverage of the entire, two-year investigation—but also the sudden disbelief and mistrust regarding Barr’s summary.

Democrats Finally Reveal Why We Can’t “Just Wait” for the Full Mueller Report

Fine wine ages for a period of years, much like the Mueller report has. Unlike fine wine though, the Mueller report has aged like milk. Taking up space in the refrigerator, not useful to anyone, needing to be thrown out and forgotten about.

Ahh, the Mueller report. The most sought-after document since—well actually, Trump’s tax returns. While that’s also back in demand amidst the release of Attorney General William Barr’s summary of the Mueller report—indicating no collusion, democrats have more than doubled-down on their two-year long, now debunked allegations that our president and his administration colluded with Russia in order to influence the 2016 election.

While AG Barr has already assured us several times that the entire report would be released within a matter of weeks, many democrats have been reluctant to accept that.

Last week, the House Judiciary Committee approved a subpoena to obtain the entire, unredacted Mueller report.

While many find it extremely confusing and frustrating to see democratic committee members displaying the patience of a toddler, one democrat was finally able to provide us with an irrefutable answer to the obvious question—It’s been two years already, Barr says no collusion—why can’t democrats just wait?

Nita Lowey, a democratic congresswoman from New York appeared on Cuomo Prime Time Tuesday where host Chris Cuomo asked her two simple, reasonable questions regarding the report.

“What do you think is in there that they’re going to hide? What is fueling your suspicion?” Cuomo asked.

Luckily, Nita Lowey, who has served in congress since 1989 gave Cuomo the holy grail of answers to this puzzling question.

“Frankly, I am not giving any possible question in advance. I want to see the whole report; I know what has to happen and we need that whole report.” She answered (yes, that was verbatim). This method of arguing is often used by fussy children as they are throwing temper tantrums in a store because their parents denied them getting something they wanted.

I’m not saying why, I’m not explaining anything, I just don’t feel like waiting. Why? Because I am partisan, and I will refuse to exonerate our president until the very last moment that I can do so. I will show our president support on nothing even when he is wrongfully accused of treason.

That is what congresswoman Lowey is really trying to say, despite her lack of ability to articulate a sensible thought using proper grammar.

We will get the full Mueller report. This has been stated and is only a matter of time. The question now becomes—considering Barr’s determination of no collusion, what happens next after the full report is released, and will a new conspiracy theory arise in the all but dead Mueller fiasco?

Have Mercy - Aunt Becky Indicted on New Charges

The well-known former Full House actress Lori Loughlin, often referred to as her character Aunt Becky (Rebecca Donaldson)—has been indicted on a new charge Tuesday along with her fashion designer husband Mossimo Giannulli.

The two are charged with a single count of money laundering conspiracy on top of the charges they were issued last month of conspiracy to commit wire & mail fraud. The couple appeared in a Boston federal court last week and were asked not to enter a plea. Both have remained free on bail.

33 other parents of university students have also been indicted as part of a sweeping college admissions bribery scheme.

Loughlin and her husband are accused of paying $500,000 in bribes to the University of Southern California to ensure the admission of their daughters as crew team recruits, though neither played the sport.

If convicted, the money laundering charge alone would have the couple facing a maximum of 20 years in prison.

“This means if Lori and her husband now want to plea bargain their cases, instead of a minimum range of 2 to 2 and a half years in prison ... prosecutors would recommend to the judge a minimum range of 4 years and 9 months up to 5 years and 11 months.” TMZ reported Tuesday.

This is a developing story.

Censoring Big Tech: Facebook & Google Face Tough Crackdown

Tech giants like Google & Facebook are facing dicey litigation in Europe after some countries proposed regulation of the companies—regulation that would force them to remove & block extreme content on their platform such as terroristic propaganda.

A European Union parliamentary committee, the Civil Liberties Committee passed a bill Monday—approved at 35 votes to 1(8 absentees), that would give these tech platforms just one hour to remove content deemed to be “extreme” by the Competent National Authority—or face heavy fines & penalties.

“The legislation targets any material -text, images, sound recordings or videos- that “incites or solicits the commission or contribution to the commission of terrorist offences, provides instructions for the commission of such offences or solicits the participation in activities of a terrorist group”, as well as content providing guidance on how to make and use explosives, firearms and other weapons for terrorist purposes.” The report states.

A vote by the full chamber on the current draft law is expected next week.

“The new Parliament, formed after the European elections, will be in charge of negotiating with the Council of Ministers on the final form of the legislation.” The report states.

These tech giants are already working actively to remove harmful content from their platforms for obvious reasons, so the idea of punishing them for missing a 60-minute time frame is a very controversial proposal—despite its overwhelming support from the European committee.

According to Omnicore, 55 million status updates are made every day on Facebook. 350 million photos are uploaded every day, breaking that down to 14.58 million photo uploads per hour, 243,000 photo uploads per minute and 4,000 photo uploads per second.

All algorithms aside, this is needless to say, a lot of data. A lot of data that we are theoretically going to hold these companies accountable for, down to every last piece—with a gun to their head, metaphorically speaking. Is it fair for the government to take this aggressive approach?

Mark Skilton, an English professor opposed the bill, suggesting we pursue other methods of filtering out content such as using artificial intelligence. “Issuing large fines and hitting companies with bigger legal threats is taking a 20th-century bullwhip approach to a problem that requires a nuanced solution.” He stated.

We don’t punish cell phone carriers when criminals are caught using their network to make phone calls & send text messages, aiding them in committing crimes—and we shouldn’t punish tech platforms for harmful content that their users publish.

George Stephanopoulos Asks Andrew Yang If He Needs to Do More to Separate Himself from White Supremacist Groups

Andrew Yang, a serial entrepreneur & democratic presidential candidate is the founder of Venture for America and the son of immigrant parents from Taiwan. He is a huge proponent of UBI (Universal Basic Income) which, from the beginning, has been the primary focus of his campaign. The proposal, often referred to as the “Freedom Dividend” would pay every US Citizen over the age of 18— $1,000 per month, no questions asked.

George Stephanopoulos of ABC News interviewed Yang Sunday when he threw a bit of a curveball.

The interview started entirely normal, focusing on the discussion of a few of Yang’s primary issues.

• Universal Basic Income
• Automation
• Taxation of Big Tech
• Prison Reform
• Government Regulation of Social Media

The fluidity of discussion on these important topics was suddenly interrupted when Stephanopoulos played a clip where—Richard Spencer, a white supremacist showed support for candidate Yang in the 2020 election on a podcast in March.

“Now we have Andrew Yang, who’s conventionally liberal on a host of issues, but who will offer us a thousand bucks a month. Trump offers us bluster and [expletive] and no dollars per month. Andrew Yang comes in and offers us this. Why don’t we just get on the Yang Gang?” Spencer said on The Public Space.

Stephanopoulos then followed this up with a puzzling series of questions for Yang. “Do you understand why white supremacists are drawn to you, and do you need to do more to separate from them?”

Well, to answer the first part—one with an IQ in the single digits can tell you that free money was, beyond the shadow of a doubt, the driving factor in Spencer’s support for Yang. Spencer shows support for nothing more than Yang’s UBI proposal in his statement which, in theory, would be paid out to every single US Citizen.

It is universally understood that everybody loves money, disgusting bigots included. The fact that Spencer is a fan of one policy of Yang’s in which he becomes an immediate recipient of $1,000 per month, and somehow that conflates Spencer’s ideology with Yang is an incredibly absurd implication to make. Are we really to believe that Yang, the son of two immigrant parents from Taiwan—who arguably talks about race less frequently than any other candidate running is in any way associated with a disgusting, white supremacist like Richard Spencer—much less need to “do more to separate from them”?

Luckily, Yang responded beautifully.

“Well, you know what—I’ve completely disavowed any support from anyone who holds to some sort of hateful or racist ideology. I mean, I’m the son of immigrants myself and that’s antithetical to what I believe.”

“But I do want to stay focused on trying to solve the problems of the American people.” He concluded the useless topic as he dove right back into talking about policy.

Good for you, Yang.

AOC combats 22nd amendment error: Compares it to border cages

Socialist congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez kicked off an Instagram live video Thursday whilst assembling furniture in her Brooklyn apartment with a very predictable tirade on her primary issue—climate change.

“Your grandchildren will not be able to hide the fact that you fought against acknowledging and taking bold actions on climate change” Cortez uttered. “People who are trying to mock and delay this moment, I mean—I just feel bad for you.”

The self-righteous tone quickly shifted to a defensive position which seemed to stem from the backlash Cortez has received following her historically inaccurate example of invocation of the 22nd amendment. “They had to amend the constitution of the United States to make sure Roosevelt did not get reelected.” Cortez stated last week on MSNBC.

The problem with this statement, however, is that FDR died in 1945. It was not until 1947, nearly two years later that congress approved the 22nd amendment.

“I’m 29! I’m the youngest woman to ever be elected to the United States Congress! I have plenty of time to learn, and I’m not afraid to make mistakes and iterate in public either.” Cortez stated in her video.

This quickly shifted and followed itself up with a comparison to the border cages, used to house detained illegal immigrants at the US-Mexico border that the Trump administration has been subject to extensive criticism for. “At least I’m not trying to cage children at the border and inject them with drugs. That’s not a mistake, that’s a deliberate policy to attack people based on their national origin.” she stated.

Cortez’s remarks on the use of drugs on children in these facilities is likely in reference to a lawsuit introduced on April 16th of last year which has yet to come to fruition.

These facilities, however, were constructed under the Obama administration back in 2014. Much like Trump, Obama also was plagued with the challenge of housing all of the detainees that crossed our southern border illegally. The administration faced harsh criticism when images of children in cages at a detaining facility in Nogales, AZ made headlines.

Fellow democratic congresswoman Ilhan Omar has been one of the few democrats fiercely critical of Obama in light of the detaining facility controversy. “We can’t be only upset with Trump.” She said to Politico. His policies are bad, but many of the people who came before him also had really bad policies. They just were more polished than he was.”

Tucker Carlson apologizes to Joe Biden: Says “Hugging is not sexual assault.”

The controversial talk-show host kicked off tonight’s episode of Tucker Carlson Tonight with a heart-felt apology to the former vice president & unannounced presidential candidate Joe Biden.

As many have seen, Biden has recently come under attack with two separate allegations of “inappropriate misconduct” with two different women—both of which deemed non-sexual in nature. This, however, has not intervened with both the accusers & several others demanding he not run—calling it “disqualifying.”

Biden released a video Tuesday acknowledging the allegations—saying “I will be more mindful & respectful of people’s personal space.”

Carlson kicked off his hour-long segment on Fox News tonight with, what seemed to be satire—a headline that read “We want to begin with an apology.” We saw a similar opening just over a month ago when Carlson gave a hilariously satirical apology to the knitting community.

Tonight’s apology, however, showed to be entirely genuine & wholesome.

While the conservative talk show host quickly followed this up with the reassurance of his criticism of Biden’s character & politics, he preceded this with a moment of sympathy for Biden. “There’s something sad, pathetic really about watching a 76-year-old man apologize for not understanding “selfie culture” Carlson pitied. “You’d hope your own golden years would be a little more dignified than that.”

He went on to apologize for the “irresistible” urge for the network to initially mock and scoff at the democratic presidential candidate’s allegations of “passing out Eskimo kisses & sniffing people’s hair.”

“Hugging is not sexual assault. Eskimo kisses are not rape.” Carlson added.

“That used to be obvious; it’s not obvious anymore, and so we’re sorry for helping to blur the distinction between human affection and coercive, immoral behavior. The last thing this country needs is more aggrieved people who think they’ve been assaulted because a senior citizen hugged them wrong.”

House Democrats double-down on the “collusion delusion”

With the 2020 race heating up, the summary on the findings in the nearly 400-page Mueller report has unsurprisingly not been enough for much of the democratic party.

On March 24, Attorney General William Barr released his summary of the nearly two-year long investigation on Russia’s involvement in the 2016 Presidential election; specifically as to whether the Trump administration colluded with Russia in order to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

Barr’s findings, according to his summary, indicates no collusion was found.

“The Special Counsel’s investigation did not find that the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with Russia in its efforts to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election.” Barr stated on page 2 of the summary.

But, despite the findings, many democrats are still not willing to draw conclusions prior to the release of the full report. Democratic senator & presidential candidate Cory Booker said in an interview with MSNBC “I’m not going to make any conclusions, until I’ve read the report. Not at all.”

The House Judiciary Committee announced early Monday morning their plans to vote on Wednesday to authorize a subpoena in an attempt to force the Justice Department to hand over the Special Counsel’s entire report, no later than April 2nd, without redactions. This effort contrary to Barr’s promise to release the entire report to the public by mid-April, with redactions.

It seems as though the distraught democratic party has potentially sunken their teeth too deep into this investigation to release the bite. Is this aggressive approach—one which abhorrently discredits the integrity of AG Barr, Mueller & the countless others involved in this two-year investigation—the right move for the democratic party headed into the 2020 election, or will this lead them to a dead end?
